Eloping in Sedona during the winter
Feb. 18, 2024 was a warm day … however not always is it nearly 70 degrees in February. Often we will get a fleeting snow storm or rain shower. Planning ahead and bringing a warm Etsy wool cape is still a great idea, especially when a breeze picks up and creates a little drama! This location was Secret Slick Rock, not so secret anymore. Weekends can be a challenge all year around. This particular Sunday there were 2 weddings and approximately 50 visitors exploring the sunset drenched views overlooking Cathedral Rock. If you can possibly book a weekday, this is your best bet, otherwise we highly encourage a shuttle for most trail head parking when bringing guests. Learning to share the epic trails and views has been a part of the local Sedona transformation. Inquire about our “out in the boondock” locations if you are avid hikers. We often have your ceremony at a easy location, such as your Airbnb … and then head to the views for a 2nd location “romance session”.
