Best Time to Elope

Getting married in Sedona during the winter months is easy to understand once you’ve experienced a warm February sunset. Not to say we don’t have weather in Sedona, however it is more typical to have a sunny 65 degree day in February than a rainy day. The winter brings more dramatic skies, and coveted privacy on the red rocks during the “off-season”. Bookings and prices are luring more brides to choose the winter months for an outdoor wedding for more flexibility of dates, off-season pricing and the quiet trails to feel like you have your own private gettaway. Yes, Sedona can be cold, windy and snowing, however hovering around 32 degrees on the coldest day is not a deal breaker for those who live in the midwest or east coast. We can’t guarantee the weather, yet it’s our most inclement time of year making for the most dramatic images.
