How to Elope to the Oregon Coast

Eloping is a piece of cake … literally. With an Oregon Wedding License, an Officiant & 2 witness’, a guest list or not, the rest is simple logistics with regards to the time of year, day, & any req’d permit.

We capture elopements for couples who are madly in love and want the most out of their #1 transformational day of their relationship.

An expert in soft coaching, I ask for your team-playing to ensure your gallery of photo’s will be full of images you will love to look at over & over.

How to get married on the Oregon Coast

  • Spend time contemplating what you want to experience on your destination elopement day. The inspiration will follow.

  • The sand beaches offer so much with the protruding haystack rocks.

  • We have a list of recommendations and encourage a family member to participate and make your wedding exceptionally heartwarming.

    • Obtain your Oregon Wedding License

    • You will need 2 witness' to make your License legal. Sometimes we have fellow hikers sign your license if it's just the 2 of you.

    • Bring your license with a pen ... to your wedding day.

  • Experienced Photographers are your best resource for your timeline. After a few hundred weddings they begin to understand the value of timing each event with intention.

    • Sunset (or Sunrise) will determine the intimate elopements designed to maximize your photography.

    • Timelines are also based on the number of guests so there is a perfect amount of time for family & group photos, as well as navigating to the photo spot.

    • All day Weddings are unique because of the intricacy of events and many moving parts such as: Prep, gown dressing, groomsmen, first look, bridal photos, ceremony, License signing, group photos, sunset romance portraits, grand entrance, first dance, parent dance, toasts, dinner, dancing, cake cut to name a few. A wedding planner and day-of coordinator will communicate with the photographer and keep the events timely.

  • Each elopement is unique: The hike distance, the heli flight, possible multiple locations in different climates. Bringing children, your pets. I will list the basics to refer to:

    • Hiking shoes/boots broken in, proper fitting socks, pack your dress shoes.

    • Wear your dress or pack your dress and accessories (veil, cape, florals)

    • Marriage License & Pen

    • Rings & vow books

    • Bouquet & Boutonniere

    • Travel mirror, makeup

    • Champagne, plastic cups

    • Sunscreen

    • Headlamps

    • Weather related clothing

    • CLEAR Umbrellas

    • Tissues & Handi-wipes

    • Electrolytes & snacks

    • Lint roller

    • Emergency tampon

    • Pain reliever, bandaid

    • Backpack chair

    • Bubble blower

    • Battery lanterns

    • Towel to sit on

    • change of shoes if muddy

    • Dog water, bowl, treats, toy

    • Children snacks, water, toy, towel to lay on

    • DO NOT bring items that are illegal at your state park or wilderness location.

Oregon Coast Elopements

  • 3 to 5 hours of consecutive photography at your favorite Oregon Coast Location.

    • Includes your ceremony coverage, group photos with your guests (limit of 12 guests for 3 hour session), a short hike to an epic view for artful romance portraits & epic landscapes.

    • Taking bookings for summer months June thru September 2025

    • Capturing your authentic love at your beautiful location.

    • Location is determined by your limit of 12 guest list and their agility and fitness.

    • Soft access trail head options

    • Adventure locations will require additional hours

    • Coaching for your best authentic look

    • Additional guests will require more hours for capturing multiple group photos and organizing time.

  • Starting at $1600. for 3 hours.

    Engagement sessions starting $1200.

    5 hr micro-weddings at Oregon venues $3300.

    Travel fees may apply when wandering far away from Pacific City, Oregon
